Heat Embossing – Raised look? That’s what the technique of heat embossing can give to your rubber stamping project. In order to achieve this effect, you need to obtain an embossing powder and a heat gun. You also need an ink to create the color you desire. All you need to do is to put the powder on your stamped image and heat it until the powder melts.

The melting process is what actually creates the embossed effect.

Brayering – If you want to create great backgrounds to your rubber stamping project, brayering is the best method to use. This method is specifically designed for background purposes, and all you need to have here is nothing else but the brayer and the ink pad. The brayer appears like that of a paint roller, and it is it which gives your craft a unique background effect once stroke on the paper.
